Born Raised

I was not born a liar

I was trained in the ways

From an early age

Punished for it

by the same system

from which I came

I received the lesson

Reflected the measures

I became a student

Listened for why I was wrong

Yet couldn’t be heard

When ringing the phone

Singin-a-long

Bein the reason why you didn’t call

Seeing the treason of being involved

Sick of it all

Risking the fall

Done with the lesions and

Seeming enthralled

Being engulfed in the culture

Sitting committees of vultures

Venue revolted

Human is golden

Nothing is left of the motive

Stressing the rest of the shoulders

Better then dead-off with they head

It’s nothing as summer gets colder

I was not born a liar

I was trained in the ways

From an early age

Punished for it

by the same system

from which I came

I received the lesson

Reflected the measures

I became a student

Listened for why I was wrong

Yet couldn’t be heard

When ringing the phone
